PRED-GPCR Families

PRED-GPCR Families.

Version 1.01

SwissProt and Trembl GPCR sequences are regularly scanned against the PRED-GPCR library of motifs. All entries matching with a combined E-value below the weighted Minimum Error Point, having individual motif matches below the respective cutoff value, are assigned to the PRED-GPCR families. Currently (April 2004), 2620 sequences have been assigned automatically to PRED-GPCR families. Additionally, links to related PROSITE and PFAM entries are provided.

The PRED-GPCR library includes signature profiles for the following families:
